Literature: A bracelet of this design by Georges Lenfant Paris for Tiffany was featured on the cover of Vogue New York magazine in October 1965.

For most of the 20th century, the workshop of Georges Lenfant was run by his son Jacques, who had joined as an apprentice in 1915. For Parisian houses, such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boivin, and Hermes, he was a trusted manufacturer of their gold jewelry designs, while they themselves sold some of Lefant's own creations. A lifelong student of the art and celebrated trade leader, he wrote an important book on the art of gold chain work, his area of undisputed mastery.
