Max Blondat Gilt Bronze "An Embrace" Figural Vide-Poche Dish

$35,000

This French Art Nouveau gilt bronze vide-poche dish, titled "An Embrace," by Max Blondat, is comprised of two deep, oblong dishes attached at the center. Where the two dishes meet, a natural motif reminiscent of frothing waves erupts, from which emerged two forms, one male figure and one female figure, each stretching their torso toward the other from the opposite side of the composition.
