Hardy & Hayes Antique Baroque Pearl and Diamond Snake Bracelet

$12,500
Created by Hardy & Hayes, circa 1890, this serpent or snake bracelet is composed of large baroque pearls, diamonds and 18K gold. The top of the bracelet is designed as a chased and engraved gold snake with diamond head, the body set at intervals with old mine-cut diamonds and coiled around itself encircling three baroque pearl eggs, completed by a bracelet of curb link chain. Modeled to rest comfortably on the wrist without flipping, this naturalistic snake jewel in beautifully worked gold is a unique and ingenious design.
