The composition of this sconce is a lovely balance of solid, resolute, and visually-weighty bronze and the ethereally light Favrile glass of the tulip shades. Graduating from the heavier elements upwards towards to the lightest, light producing segments of the piece is a rewarding experience for the eye that can be enjoyed, and has been enjoyed, for decades.
