Tiffany Studios New York "Prism" Favrile Ceiling Light Fixture
This unique Tiffany Studios New York Favrile glass and bronze "Prism" ceiling light fixture, featuring a large decorated center glass shade, surrounded by a circular row of grandiose, yet refined, iridescent gold glass "Prisms." Each prism is suspended from a gilt bronze crown, with hanging beaded details. Encircling the shade are six green Favrile glass tulip shades, with pulled-feather decoration, that counter the sleek drama of the prism with a soft form, hue, and delicate decoration.

It is nothing short of a miracle for a chandelier made in 1910 and composed of so much fragile and irreplaceable glass to have survived the vicissitudes of changing taste to arrive in the present day, intact and somehow completely modern.
