Tiffany Studios New York "Damascene Counter-Balance" Floor Lamp
This Tiffany Studios New York Favrile glass and patinated bronze floor lamp, featuring a shimmering twisted green and amber "Damascene" glass shade suspended from a patinated bronze "Counter-Balance" floor base. The "Counter-Balance" base is just that; an elegant architectural feat in which it appears that the beautiful, delicate "Damascene" shade is countered perfectly by the resolute bronze globe at the base of the lamp arm that counters the weight of the swan arm and shade.
