Seed Pearl and Enamel Grapevine Triple Festoon Necklace

Dating from the 1900s, this delicate American Art Nouveau festoon necklace features enamel leaves and seed pearl grapes. It is designed as two clusters of pale greenish yellow enamel grape leaves with rose blush highlights suspending triple strands of trace link chain joined by two central pendants of conforming polychrome enamel leaves and scrolling vines suspending bunches of seed pearl grapes, all competed by trace link chain. With its sense of lightness and balance, this necklace’s delicate naturalism celebrates the graceful beauty of nature.
