No-Heat Burmese Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring
This antique English ring features a rare, unheated two-carat ruby from Burma, framed by fiery old mine-cut diamonds set in oxidized silver and gold. The glowing, rich red gem sits amidst a halo of diamonds, in a classic cluster motif, sparkling against a dark stage of the oxidized silver, creating a miniature spectacle of vivid color and white light for the hand. The gold shoulders of the ring are composed in an openwork lyre motif, enhancing the romantic feel of the Victorian era.
