Marina B. 18K Gold "Chexa" Necklace
Created by Marina B in 1987, this necklace is made of 18K gold. It is composed of two lines of hexagonal links, one designed as solid forms surmounting overlapping open links. Streamlined and ingeniously constructed, this sleek necklace offers flexibility and soft edges for everyday wear, as well as a subtle complexity that lends it unusual visual interest.

Marina Bulgari left the family firm to found her own house in 1976, attracting independent women such as Princess Grace and others who made purchasing decisions for themselves. While she invented new cuts of gems and worked on the leading edge of contemporary aesthetics, she maintained her family's focus on superb engineering and construction.
