Louis Majorelle Rosso Verona Marble Top Guéridon Table
This French Art Nouveau marble top triangular guéridon table by Louis Majorelle features legs, an apron, and cross piece that are carved with flowers, vines, and leaves. Fashioned of marble and carved or molded mahogany wood, the table's sophisticated and dynamic design is enhanced by the sinuous curves of its chevrefeuille, or honeysuckle, floral motif. In this small display table, Majorelle breathes new life into old tradition, with a tabletop that is inset with the highest grade Rosso Verona marble, with white veined orange nodules set within a red matrix.
