Diamond and Seed Pearl Sautoir Pendant Necklace

This rare and exceptional Edwardian sautoir necklace is designed as a rosette pendant suspended from a broad chain of platinum and diamond openwork links and delicate seed pearls. The soft and flexible seed pearl chain, accented by old mine- and rose-cut diamonds, suspends the openwork pendant with stylized diamond garland motifs, enhanced by millegrain accents. Long, airy and glamorous, this necklace is a classic Edwardian study in whites, with the diamonds creating sparkling highlights against a backdrop of velvety white pearls and subtly gleaming platinum.
