Cabochon Colombian Emerald and Diamond Ring
Dating from the 1980s, this alluring French platinum ring is set with an over three-carat cabochon Colombian emerald with over three carats of diamonds. The ring’s bombé curves and forward angles are pavé-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, edged by channel-set square and fancy-cut diamonds, all centering the emerald cabochon. The canted, curvaceous form playfully juxtaposes the sparkling and mirror effects of the brilliant and step-cut diamonds to accentuate the soft, satiny green of the emerald cabochon.
