This glass vase by Louis Comfort Tiffany for Tiffany Studios New York, features an elegant "Peacock Eye," with the silhouette to match. Elongated and rounded at the top much like the shape of a feather from Louis Comfort Tiffany's favorite and most elegant bird, this glass vase is delicately decorated from its rim to its base in ultra-fine iridescent detailing. Striated to mimic the appearance of a separating feather, the center of the composition are the "eyes" of the "feathers," or the wondrous, multilayered circles found around the rounded upper portion of the vase.
