Louis Comfort Tiffany crafted a number of these candelabrum designs, either decorated in gilt bronze in candelabrum form or as single candlesticks, often with removable decorative bobeches; the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City has a patinated bronze single candlestick with green Favrile glass in their extensive collection, which is similar to the design of this piece.
