Tiffany Studios New York "Arrowhead" Table Lamp
A delightful homage to the wetlands, the "Arrowhead" table lamp by Tiffany Studios New York features a leaded glass shade with abstracted vegetal forms and lively patterning that convey a textile-like quality. Two bands of tightly clustered, bright white arrowroot flowers and a field of mottled sea blue glass serve as the ground for the composition, which is dominated by the repeated form of a simplified arrowroot plant. Scalloped patterning that graduates from kelly green to aqua blue decorates the upper most portion of the shade while a bold but narrow border in a triangular motif circles just above the bottom edge. The shade sits atop a patinated bronze decorated library base.
