Tiffany Studios New York "Wire Mesh Poppy" Table Lamp

SOLD

A Tiffany Studios New York wire mesh "Poppy" leaded glass and gilt bronze table lamp. The shade features brilliant yellow hued poppy blossoms with hints of rum and amber in various stages of bloom, and a band of green-blue leaves against a multihued ground dominated by an arresting shade of violet. Wire mesh centers delineate the pistils and stamens of the blossoms in full bloom and wire mesh is also applied as the veining for the leaves. The lamp sits on a patinated bronze "Twisted Vine" base
