Tiffany Studios New York "Windswept Tulip" Table Lamp
The shade of this Tiffany Studios New York "Windswept Tulip" table lamp is comprised of brightly-colored tulips, in the fullest state of bloom, dancing serenely in the Spring breeze against a deep blue sky. Louis Comfort Tiffany had quite the affinity for the tulip flower, but rarely recreated a composition that had the dynamic and joyous movement that can be found in this piece. The colorful, leaded glass shade sits atop a patinated bronze library base.
