Louis Majorelle Pair of "Siège d'Aubépine" Armchairs
This pair of French Art Nouveau "Siège d'Aubépine" armchairs, by Louis Majorelle, are decorated on their back edges, arms, legs and seat supports with carved hawthorn leaves and berries. The inclusion of these intricate, tightly-grouped sections of natural wonder is made possible but the architecturally striking border space that flank the supporting structures of the piece.
