Boucheron Paris Diamond Bombé Ring

$37,500

This bombé diamond ring by Boucheron Paris is a domed, sculptural form presenting a stylized mass of diamond blossoms, set on diamond baguette shoulders. The baguettes seemingly hold up the domed top, as if it were bursting forth with the diamonds' inherent sparkle and shine. This beautifully-crafted ring expresses the 1950s return to prosperity and glamour, greater social freedom for women, and a bold style statement for chic women.

This beautifully-crafted ring is gorgeous even from the reverse. Boucheron Paris craftsmen were so expert with platinum that the diamonds are set with a minimum of the metal, maximizing the opportunity for light let the gems blaze. The internal structure of the bombé form has clean, architectural lines, and the stepped, tapering shank is shaped and weighted to balance the ring on the hand.
