Turquoise Cabochon and Diamond Ring

Dating from the early 20th century, this platinum-topped gold ring is set with a turquoise cabochon and diamonds. The ring centers an oval-shaped turquoise cabochon, set in a gold bezel within a scrolling serpentine mount bead-set with rose-cut diamonds. The rich Persian blue turquoise set among fiery rose-cut diamonds adds vivid color and sparkle to this unusual antique ring, which is graceful and elongating on the finger.
