Expertly modeled, vintage half hoops such as these - compact, punchy, and designed to sit perfectly on the ear and hug the face, are no longer produced. Georges Verger & fils were among the finest French jewelry manufacturers of the 20th century, supplying all the most prestigious French houses including Cartier, Chaumet, LaCloche, Mauboussin and Van Cleef & Arpels. They manufactured to specifications and designed both with jewelry and superb jeweled and carved clocks and objets. Juliette Moutard, designer for Maison Boivin, apprenticed at the earlier iteration of the firm, Verger Frères, in the 1930s.
