Seaman Schepps was a serial experimenter and entrepreneur who opened a jewelry salon on Madison Avenue in the 1930s to offer clients his unique, ahead-of-their-time designs. As a bold colorist with a fondness for luscious cabochon gems, Schepps’s originality, wit, and sophistication won him a distinguished clientele, who nicknamed him “America’s Court Jeweler”. A popular Schepps model, this earring is now hard to find in mixed corals.
