Dating from the mid-20th century, this yellow and white gold Cartier Paris double cuff link set, with interchangeable mounts and batons, offers virtually endless combinations of colorful gem-set and hard stone options. The six mounts comprise five pairs in yellow gold, one plain and four variously highlighted by with rubies, diamonds, blue enamel, or green enamel, in addition to one pair in white gold. Among the interchangeable batons, four pairs include one each of ribbed and plain polished, alternately in white gold or in yellow gold. The remaining nine pairs of batons are variously composed of wood, hematite, chrysoprase, coral, amber, malachite, onyx, lapis lazuli and rock crystal.
