This decorated Favrile glass vase, by Louis Comfort Tiffany for Tiffany Studios New York, is a dramatic study of contrasts. The wonderfully impactful, but petite, vase offers visual interest far beyond its size. The vase features a deep, charcoal black background flecked with iridescence, livening it considerably, and two sinuously curving, twisting, dancing lines in bright, iridescent blue encircling the piece, one at the base of the neck and another just below it at its widest point.
