Louis Majorelle Pair of Carved French Walnut Armchairs

A pair of elegantly substantial armchairs by famed maker Louis Majorelle. Upholstered in a textured seafoam green, the chairs have such charming details as delicately carved arm supports and upturned feet rendered in a vegetal motifs. Though stark in their design, the chairs have a near baroque sense of luxury in their depth and comfort.

Customization: The chairs are currently upholstered in an ice blue colored textured silk fabric, but can be reupholstered in any color or fabric of your choosing upon request.

*Please allow minimum 4 weeks for custom upholstery.*

Firmly rooted in the craft of woodwork and furniture-making, Louis Majorelle’s furniture subtly recalls the splendors of furniture from the 1700s. Using a new vocabulary of natural forms and the sumptuous lines of Art Nouveau, Majorelle's furniture merged old and new in a tantalizing way.
