Jung & Klitz Jadeite and Diamond Ring

SOLD
$28,500

This Art Deco jadeite and diamond ring dates from the early 1920s, made by the firm of Jung & Klitz in New York City. The bright green, translucent jadeite cabochon is flanked by fancy bullet-cut diamonds, a new innovation for the Art Deco period. Diamond melee are pavé-set across the ring's shoulders and gallery, whose strap motifs are beautifully engraved, millegrained, and hand-pierced. Gorgeously-colored and sparkling with period diamonds, this high-style Art Deco ring glamorizes and subtly elongates the finger.
