Turquoise and Seed Pearl Gold Half Hoop Earrings

Dating from the Victorian period, these cabochon turquoise and seed pearl earrings are set in scrolls of yellow gold. Each designed as a round floret surmount flexibly suspending a foliate scrolling half hoop set with a central line of pyramidal turquoise cabochons flanked by freshwater seed pearls, and a turquoise drop, highlighted by additional florets and a pendant sphere. Light and elegant, angled so that the intricate form can be fully appreciated, these stylized half hoops bring movement, warm gold, and a touch of bright blue color to the face.
