Hector Guimard "Chalmont" Glazed Ceramic Planter

$4,750

This ceramic planter, known as "Chalmont," by Hector Guimard, is decorated with both a blue interior glaze and an earthen, gold-accented brown exterior glaze. Featuring lines so sinuous and so organic as to appear to have grown as such many centuries ago, this planter looks as if it comprised of the forgotten root system of a grand, old tree instead created at the hand of a talented and celebrated master maker.
