Daum Nancy Wheel-Carved Crocus Cameo Glass Vase

This cameo glass vase by Daum Nancy, with martelé background, has reddish wheel-carved crocus flowers with greenish veining, accenting their forms, all rising on green stems from its carved green base. The dark, hammered top and bottom of the vase beautifully frame the lightness that surrounds the delicate blooms, leaving the impression of a sun-kissed halo.
