Daum Nancy Frosted and Carved Glass Chandelier

This beautiful chandelier, an superb example of French Art Deco by Daum Nancy, features a reverse bell-shaped shade hangs from three resolute arms in this wonderfully warm and perfectly detailed piece. The richly honey-colored shade is decorated with carved and stylized, architecturally-abstracted bouquets of flowers, the stems of which run dramatically downward, creating a pattern of deep striations throughout the composition. The entire shade is finished with a frosted application, affecting the light it diffuses wonderfully.
