Pair of Trianon Citrine and Blue Topaz Shell Brooches
Dating from the late 20th century, this pair of natural shell, blue topaz, and citrine brooches are mounted in 18K gold. Each clip is designed as a natural orange and cream toned high-domed cockle shell with radial ribs, each alternately bezel-set with a square cushion shaped blue topaz or citrine, and accented by small circular-cut citrines or blue topaz, with applied floret highlights, mounted in 18K gold. Reminiscent of sun and bright blue water, these vibrant seashell jewels evoke happy feelings of fresh air and long summer days.
