West & Sons Dublin Art Nouveau Peridot Pendant

Dating from the Art Nouveau, circa 1900, this peridot pendant brooch in its original fitted box was created by West & Co. in Dublin. Set with an unusual, faceted kite-shaped peridot, framed by strongly stylized scrolling vines, and suspending a cushion-shaped peridot pendant, this vivid green and gold jewel unites gemmy allure and proto-modern design appeal.
