"Wire Mesh Poppy" Tiffany Lamp

A Tiffany Studios New York “Wire Mesh Poppy” glass and bronze table lamp. The shade features variegated leaves in different shades of green together with brilliant red colored poppy blossoms at various stages of bloom. The blossoms and leaves are further accentuated by blue and purple buds and flower centers and are set against a golden mottled glass ground with a light blue geometric border. Wire mesh is used to denote the pistils and stamens of the poppy blooms and the delicate veining of the leaves.
