"Nasturtium" Tiffany Floor Lamp

A Tiffany Studios New York "Nasturtium" lamp. This irregular border shade features vivid red, orange and purple nasturtium blossoms surrounded by green leaves set against a confetti and string glass ground. The rare combination of glass found in this lamp is a direct reference to Tiffany’s art glass, usually vases that are smaller in size and almost never illuminated. The shade is further enhanced with iridescent glass and fully formed paperweight flowers. The latter requires elaborate glass making techniques, and is almost never found in Tiffany lamps.
